Venezuelan President Hugo Chávez Frías, received Monday at the Miraflores Palace a delegation of consultants from China Development Bank to review the financing of several cooperation projects that advance the two nations on energy, economic, technological and industrial.
The meeting, which took place in the Ayacucho Hall of the seat of Government, attended by the senior advisor to the China Development Bank, Lu Kegu, and executive vice president of International Economic Exchange Center of the Asian nation, Zheng Xili include senior representatives from the financial institution.
For Venezuela, the delegation is headed by Executive Vice President, Elias Jaua, and Ministers of Planning and Finance, Jorge Giordani, Energy and Petroleum Rafael Ramirez, Science, Technology and Industry Intermediate, Ricardo Menendez, Public Works and Housing, Diosdado Cabello , Electric Power, Ali Rodriguez, Trade, Richard Canan, Basic Industries and Mining, José Khan, and Foreign Affairs, Nicolás Maduro.
Also attending the meeting the president of the Banco Central de Venezuela, Nelson Merentes, Venezuela's ambassador in China, Rocío Maneiro, the vice president of Refining, Commerce and Supplies, Petroleos de Venezuela (PDVSA), Asdrubal Chavez, and the Director of Planning Corporate Pequiven, José Briñez, among other officials.
