I'm simply stating cautious optimism.

Vz is not ranked high on investor friendly countries. Having the Chinese behind is could be a double edged sword. This is a new situation and I hope that this pans out.

This deal has only just been announced so the timeline to completion has to be factored in. We don't have all the information - only a high level agreement of intent.

Where this will ultimately go will depend on the fickle Chavez. China is pouring Billions into Vz for good reason. Think for a minute... how many deals has Chavez "done" in the past. Kry and China have a deal and someone in the Vz government is happy... Who would that be?

So until I hear Chavez touting this deal and annoucing a great new erra of Gold, China and Socialist Revolution (how he ties those together... who will know!) I'm going to continue to wallow in my drink (thanks for the pour!).

Don't get me wrong though... I'm in to KRY more than I wish. I'm riding this out and expect to take a nice profit. I'm also warry of the time line.

As far as bets are concerned I'm still betting my shares that this will work out.
