Yes, interesting.Removalbe from the index could be a reason for the negative volume. I did find find this article on Crystallex and volume on the TSX. If today was the last day of trading on the tsx then this article may be worthless.

Toronto Stock Exchange (11,504.74 down 64.87 points):

Crystallex International Corp. (TSX:KYR). Miner. Down three cents, or 5.45 per cent, at 52 cents on 27,602,888 shares. The gold miner's stock had surged as high as 82 cents in early trading after announcing that China Railway Engineering Corp. had become its strategic partner and would lead efforts to unblock the environmental approval process for Crystallex's stalled Las Cristinas mine in Venezuela.

Eastern Platinum Ltd. (TSX:ELR). Miner. Down three cents, or 2.44 per cent, at $1.20 on 10,257,964 shares.

Western Coal Corp. (TSX:WTN). Miner. Down 44 cents, or 9.13 per cent, at $4.38 on 7,690,951 shares.

Lundin Mining Corp. (TSX:LUN ). Miner. Down 30 cents, or 7.85 per cent, at $3.52 on 6,715,684 shares. The base metals sector led decliners, down 4.27 per cent per cent as worries about slowing Chinese growth pushed the July copper contract in New York down five cents to an eight month low of US$2.77 a pound.

Bombardier Inc. (TSX:BBD.B ). Transportation. Down 28 cents, or 5.89 per cent, at $4.47 on 6,511,803 shares.

Teck Resources Ltd. (TSX:TCK.B ). Miner. Down $1.63, or 4.97 per cent, at $31.14 on 6,028,589 shares.

TSX Venture Exchange (1,453.32 down 11.60 points):

Canacol Energy Ltd. (TSXV:CNE). Oil and gas. Down four cents, or 5.0 per cent, at 76 cents on 3,489,298 shares.

WesternZagros Resources Ltd. (TSXV:WZR ). Oil and gas. Up four cents, or 8.7 per cent, at 50 cents on 3,335,163 shares. Monday's rise followed on the heels of a more than 22 per cent advance Friday after the company announced last week that it had received confirmation of its well-control insurance for its Kurdamir-1 well in the Kurdistan region of Iraq as well as approval for a first, interim payment of $5.7 million.

Spider Resources Inc. (TSXV:SPQ). Mineral exploration and development. Up half a cent, or 3.7 per cent, at 14 cents on 3,002,978 shares. Cliffs Natural Resources (NASDAQ:CLF) said Monday it might not go through with a plan to bid for KWG Resources (TSXV:KWG), but would continue with its offer for Spider Resources as it tries to expand its chromite assets in northern Ontario. KWG shares were off one cent, or 7.41 per cent, at 12.5 cents on volume of 1,618,726 shares.

Compton Petroleum Corp. (TSX:CMT). Oil and gas. Up one cent, or 1.35 per cent, at 75 cents on 799,256 shares. The Calgary-based company has agreed to sell some of its natural gas assets in the Niton and Gilby areas of central Alberta for $150.2 million to streamline operations, raise development capital and reduce its debt.

Research In Motion (TSX:RIM). Wireless technology. Down $3.19, or 5.05 per cent, to $60.04 on 2,708,916 shares. The BlackBerry maker's stock slid after Piper Jaffray analyst Michael Walkley said that competition from Android-based phones resulted in weaker sales of RIM's BlackBerry line at most carriers in May.
