I can't say that I fully understand the true valuation of KRY in light of the new JV partnership . . .
You and me both brother, I just know that the "true value" is a lot higher than we are now.
Why do you think CR, with no experience in mining is a JV partner; show me the money.
Although it is a state owned company (with a small float in Shanghai and Hong Kong in private hands), they seem to really downplay the government connection from everything I can find. They build everything on a huge scale. The investments from China over the last two years have really emphasized oil, base metals, and gold on a worldwide basis. Now CR looks to be the vehicle to absorb the gold from Venezuela.
The railroad they're building in VN is to allow exploitation of the vast heavy crude reserves. I expect that they will look to exploit all of the gold reserves in the Bolivar, not just LC. If Fung can keep us in that play, it will provide a significant additional source of revenue.
Only time will tell, but at least I'm far more certain of our survival and potential than I was last week. Looking forward to the information from the AGM -- wish I could attend, but I have a three week job up in Amarillo. I'm definitely setting all of June 2011 aside to come party in the Great North.
