The workers of the companies Rusoro Mining and Mining Promotora of Guayana (PMG) realise a long walk by the main streets of Guasipati, Callao and Tumeremo, to demand a modification of the resolution that norm the commercialization.

Guasipati. - Loading globes, whistles and tens of flags of the native tricolor, the workers of the companies Rusoro Mining and Mining Promotora of Guayana (PMG) crossed the main streets of the Pebble, Tumeremo and Guasipati, to demand to the national Government the installation of a dialogue table that analyzes the situation of the commercialization of gold.

Without doing violence to the right to the free transit, the employees of the miners, their relatives and citizens of the towns of the south demand a revision of resolution 09-06-03, published in the Official Newspaper N° 39,201 of the 22 of June of 2009, of the Central bank of Venezuela (BCV) that forces the sale of a 70 percent of the production of gold to the official exchange rate.

The workers who fear to lose their uses before the threat of closing sent by the private companies affected by the measurement of the emitting being do not discard to transfer the protest until Guayana City.

Jose Vicente Perdomo, union leader maintains that “again we have taken the streets, accompanied by the town of the south, to solicit that the BCV, modifies the resolution. They are killing from hunger the towns of the south. We ask to the authorities, President of the republic, the minister of the Mibam, that modify the resolution because we want to work”.

Jose Manuel Rodriguez, general manager of the company Rusoro Mining, was thankful for the endorsement of the populations of the south.

“We are fighting, by the sustenance of more than five thousand workers, direct and indirect. We will continue advancing realising pacific manifestations, we want to clarify that we are not against the resolution, which we asked is the change of article one and two, which we receive the same benefits of the companies of the State”, limited.

On the denunciations of chavistas communal spokesmen, who supposedly labeled the fight like a political action directed to opacar to the pro-government candidates to the elections of the 26 as September, the union representative gave these declarations to an ignorance of the reality.

“They are lying, are being manipulated by people who do not know the reality of the south, those politicians who want to put the hand, are mistaken”, sentenced.

Also it responded to the commentaries expressed by supporters of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela about presumed political aims of the march.

“We do not see anything politician, are revolutionary and are constructing the towns, do not have anything to do with the policy and if he touched to us, we have always supported the national Government. What yes it is truth is that civil servants exist who are not revolutionary”, declared.
