I think Communist Leader Hugo Chavez is between a rock and a hard place. If Hugo does not issue the permit by Sept 30th or soon after he would certainly fear arbitratation by the Chinese because they have the money and can do it. They have 2/3 of the property now and will not be denied. It's impossible in my mind for them to have put all this time and money into this deal to walk away without huge compensations.

If he made a verbal promise in the past with Russia which I believe he did, he is in big trouble with them now. He should be watching his back and wonder from whom that fictional invasion he speaks of will actually come from.

Remember when that large delegation from China visited Vz? Putin put in a personal call to Communist Leader Hugo Chavez shortly after they left according to a news report.. Putin maybe was reminding Chavez about some promises he made to them and it wasn't about oil because Russia is an exporter of oil.

Something has got to give. I stated earlier many months ago that the issuing of the permit would be tied in with the election S26 and was convinced then it would be with Russia. If so, the big announcement, to have any effect would have to occur between S1 and S7. S30 is too late.

I should add that I am not anti-Russia or their money but at the time when I chose auntierooski I was actually auntieRML. I did absolutely not want to be sharing my KRY stocks with them and wanted to give that impression. If GRZ had folded we might have next. I would have dumped if that had happened. I would not have hesitated because I didn't want anything to do with them. I think there're a bunch of th**vs sucking the money out of Canada.

I bought my first 1100 shares of KRY on Sept 13, 2002 at $3.18 and so looking forward to a permit on Sept 13, 2010, maybe the 12th which is a Sunday. We'll have to look out in the news for a movement of a delegation of Chinese flying in for that weekend. Perfect for a Grand World Event and celebration. I opolgize for the polemic but I feel better about our chances now than 2 years ago. I'm in quite deep and its all or nothing.

I asked the follwing question through e-mail to the AGM meeting today, something to the effect: " Did Hugo Chavez deliberately stall KRY in order for it to go Bankrupt?" Got no response. So s**k th** Hugo, You are between a rock and a hard place and I give Fung credit for his swing around to an alternate route which should come to fruition.
