He obviously did. And I would have opted that way too. Much more certainty. But I really wonder if he was tempted to go for the huge payday on 100% of the mine even though it may have taken 2-5 years. And who knows, maybe the payday would have forced VZ to cave and just proceed with KRY. It was a big game of chicken.
