MOM - My point was partially what Pen just said, namely Time Frame, Differing Country Economic capability(VZ's dependence on China investment). The big difference was the commodity and the players World Wide. The pricing of an ore such as Nickel, Iron etc. is somewhat controled by the large producers(BHP, Rio Tinto, Valle and others) and China didn't like not having control and having it their way and a number of these Major Miners are Australian so China showed their displeasure with slowing things down. They would do the same thing with Hugo if he started playing games and in this case they could bring the VZ economy to an almost halt with all the projects they have going.

You were making an Apples & Oranges comparison and that is what I disagreed with. That said keep up the DD diggin.
