I have noticed that companies that give dates for particular events to happen would probably like to take them back considering that they really had no clue as to when the event would really take place. Unless the company executives really know they should stop guiding. They could have easily said early in the third quarter instead of July 30th. That misstep could have saved some distress on the part of the shareholders and a lot of less communication on the part of investor relations dealing with that guidance.
