Message: Do Socialist elections effect Chinese / Kry deal? Weekend long chew question...

Question for the group...........

Unexpected events probably are not going to happen, but it seems that Chavez political perdicaments grow daily:

I am assuming that most investors here at KRY have already deceided either to accept or not accept the 1/3 - 2/3 split with CRRC, as far as voting their shares when this is presented to them.

I also assume that most shareholders voting preference is based on the fact we have got stonewalled by Chavez and/or his government forever, we were going to go broke and we would never mine LC under Chavez without this deal.

Having said all that, if the KRY / CRRC deal is voted in and afterwards Chavez's Socialist party majority is voted out are we all going to look like idiots for agreeing to the 1/3 - 2/3 split beforehand?

If Chavez is ousted and his ministers are replaced do wouldn't we look like idiots then too?

With Chavez support way down- is this a possibility?

Wouldn't CRRC be pushing to get the 2/3 deal approved by KRY shareholders before any of this could happpen?

Does this make any sense to anyone?

On a side note: Maybe the upcoming staged war with Columbia is being manufactured as a reason to postpone elections in Venezuela or to discourage voters from electing new leaders during a conflict. (Seen that play in the USA before)
