This "home of the JV", can you elaborate on what this implies?

Once I find out where it is I will be able to better understand the implications. The two that come to mind immediately are the tax consequences (which I would expect that they would set up to be minimized) and the legal system (somewhere that arbitration is still available, less important with the Chinese on board).
