Venezuelan state certification plan activated mineral deposits
Caracas, 01 Sep. AVN .- Working together in following the chain of production, extraction and marketing of metallic and nonmetallic minerals and activate a national plan for the certification of its deposits were the main conclusions which arrived at the conclusion of a mining cabinet headed by the owner of People's Power Ministry for Basic Industries and Mining (Mibam), Joseph Khan.

During the meeting attended by the Deputy Minister of Mines, Iván Hernández, representatives of the Central Bank of Venezuela (BCV), CVG Minerven, CVG Tecmin, Ingeominas, the Governor of Bolivar State, Mission Piar, Ward Mining and Mining Company Venrus National established a series of actions to follow the short and medium term in order to give a joint performance of the state policy for the safeguarding of our sovereignty in mining production.

The owner of Mibam, José Khan, explained that he has established a joint work plan to implement national mining policy in order to position it as a source alternative to oil revenue, which includes strategic alliances and activation of contracts operational.

Among the immediate actions is conducting a national study to update and certify the deposits of metallic and nonmetallic minerals.

Work will be performed by technicians from the National Institute of Geology and Mines of Venezuela (Ingeominas) and CVG Tecmin and is expected to be completed within a maximum period of three years.

This study will draw on the sectoral plans will be implemented by region, starting with the state of Bolivar, with the certification of deposits of gold, diamond, iron and kaolin.

The installation of the first cabinet miner was ripe for the BCV representatives made known the scope of Decree 34 485, in force since August 11 this year, which sets the rules on the Golden Rules of Marketing and its Alloys .

It was also agreed that officials Mibam, Corporación Venezolana de Guayana (CVG), BCV and Stewardship Mining, update and unify the database of the gold processing industry in order to exercise joint control actions, which will be more effective in the application of the law.

The owner of Mibam explained that it is an objective of the Bolivarian government to industrialize the process of extracting gold, for it said: "We have offered technical advice to small-scale miners engaged in a craft this activity and thus prevent further damage to the environment causing serious .

Khan acknowledged that the Mibam is doing a hard work in regard to the Mining Restructuring Plan. This has been followed up to the main needs of this population in health, education, housing, among others.

He also argued that he has been involved directly with the relevant agencies to enable measures to provide families with quality of life as the main incentive.

Mining Cabinet meetings shall be conducted periodically in order to monitor the work plan and a continuous evaluation of the implementation of joint actions established by the agencies involved in the mining area.
