Maison’s John Ing continues to lead First Coverage rankings

John Ing, president and gold analyst at Maison Placements Canada, leads the way in First Coverage’s 2010 mid-year Top Performer rankings. He also took home top honours in 2009.

Liza Oulton at Salman Partners ranked second in the Top Performing Sales Representative category for Canada, followed by Ash Mehta from Garp Research. Andrew Wanner with TD Securities and Nicole Baker at CIBC rounded out the top five.

Mr. Ing continues to lead his global peers in the Basic Materials category. Thomas Weisel Partners is the Top Performing Fundamental Firm in the Canadian category, while its managing director of institutional equity sales, JP Veitch, was the top performer in the Telecommunications industry globally.

Blake Kukar at Morgan Keegan is the Top Performing Sales Representative in the United States, Brad Meikle of Renewable Analytics ranked first internationally, and Doug Bantum of Capstone Investments is the Most Consistent Sales Representative Worldwide so far this year.
