that this huge delay was planned by VZ a while ago. Maybe it started off as a paperwork SNAFU in July, but when CREC and KRY realized it would take a little longer to get everything done and informed VZ about it, VZ probably replied with a "let's wait until after the election, mang".

Question is: how would election results affect our situation? As always, it's VZ, so you never know.
