Sorry but I can't take comfort in that above statement. KRY made that same statement, or similar statements, years ago when they said the problems (issues) in getting the permit were bureaucratic and not political.

It's only in the last few months that KRY as finally admitted what they knew years ago: due to commie politics Chavez was never going to give KRY the permit and KRY had to go looking for a politically acceptable partner.

Now, according to KRY, and KRY alone, they have a politically acceptable partner in the form of the Chinese.

If the permit is granted I will accept that new reality. Until then I'm not convinced.
