EZ...I agree with you that Chavez will be making money on the MOC as originally agreed to....and I'm not saying that he is going to demand contract modifications. All I know is that if there is any fly in the ointment with this whole process it has to do with Chavez. He has no respect for contract law. He doesn't understand the need for companies to make a profit in order to make it worthwhile to invest (except, of course, when it comes to something like his state run airport) and he has no clue why his socialist Bolivarian wet dream has created a shambles of his economy while the rest of South America is doing relatively well....all of this in spite of Venezuela's oil wealth. All this pig knows is that gold has skyrocketed....so I wouldn't say it is outside the realm of possibility that he decides it would be a good idea to renig on the original contract and demand more onerous terms.
