President Hu Jintao may visit Venezuela

October 11, 2010, 7:23 a.m. In order to strengthen the production of strategic minerals in the country a Chinese delegation made a visit to Venezuela that includes tours of the basic industries of the state of Bolivar. President Hu Jintao, expressed his desire to visit Venezuela

The announcement was made by Venezuelan leader Hugo Chavez during the broadcast Alo Presidente N º 365, made in the José Rafael Revenga Municipality, Aragua state.

"They come to work with us to cooperate in technological design projects aluminum, Siderurgica del Orinoco (Sidor) and gold," he explains.

For his part, Minister of Basic Industries and Mining, Joseph Kahn, emphasized that this high-level delegation will visit on Monday 11 facilities Sidor.

Also organized workshops with 22 companies interested in developing projects in mining.

This is a delegation comprising representatives of the Chinese Development Bank and companies in agriculture, mining and electricity, which will be in the country from 10 to 19 October to meet with Venezuelan authorities of the Ministries for Planning, Agriculture and Land and Power.

The technical support will provide the technical committee of the Chinese mining industry in Venezuela, is one of several areas of cooperation between Caracas and Beijing governments.

In bilateral relations, the President explained that his Commander Chinese counterpart Hu Jintao expressed his desire to visit Venezuela, after last April, the president suspended the tour to Japan Caracas as a result of the tragedy that affected the climate Asian nation.
