Seems for awhile the MMs were moving the PPS up or down to capture large orders below the bid or higher than the ask, but more so going down to grab large low ask orders. Robotrading seems more prevelant now. Level II has been getting to the point where it is meaningless for this stock.

I can only imagine that investors in Homestake Mining (back in the day) didn't have to contend with as much manipulation as we do today. Good summary Hondo. I only have "level 1"....but it made sense to me.
