With all due respect, EZ, throughout history, the US has shown itself to be the most resilient of nations. IMO, one has to be careful when advocating a radical change in behaviour. Have you sought information, or advice, from both sides of the fence? People like Sinclair represent one side of the story only; and usually, commeentators have a personal interest in a particular outcome. They are being paid to support one view; or they have made their bets, and they now spend their time trying to better their odds. A whole industry of "predicitive advice" has developed on the internet. Dangerous stuff that's just as likely to leave a trail of broken hopes, IMO.
