This is the quite the investment story I have bought into.
I knew about the Venezuela challenge. I knew about the Chinese politics. I knew about (and understood) the emotions of the retail investors. I knew a little bit about the Russian connection (but not the arms component - that's new for me). I knew about our management team - at least I was able to come to a personal estimate of their worth ...
But I didn't know anything about this Roy Carson Character. Forget the book, Penderite, I think what we have here is a Soap Opera!
I must say, investing in juniors has always been a bit of an 'edge of the seat' experience. This investment, however, takes the cake. And I've only been here for a short while.
Normally, I take a long term view and overlook the background daily 'noise'. Not for this investment, however. The background noise may end up being pertinent - so thank you to everyone who has posted relevant comments - and if not pertinent, it certainly is entertaining.
P.S.: Not "entertaining" in the sense of laughing at any of this, or downplaying the significance of the losses some have suffered, you understand. Rather, entertaining in the sense that, since I have no control over any of it, but have a vested interest in it, I may as well enjoy the ride.
