All this sorting out could take a while so I plan to go to my local bookstore and buy a 2011 calendar. It looks like I'll need it.

I don't think you'll need it Cividale. I think this latest round of unintelligable BS is going to be followed by real news in the Gazetta. All of this Nationalization talk is Hugo's way of claiming victory over the transnationals even as he gives them (KRY & the Chinese) the green light to fire up the Detroit Diesels.
