From everything I've read so far it seems like Hugo was in Russia and he started sucking up by telling everyone how Russia is going to do this and that. I have not seen any comments directly linked to Hugo saying Russia was going to mine any Las Cristinas concessions that Crystallex has under contract.

From what I gather this was another BS piece by RC and cohorts to slam KRY and pump Russia. The nationalizations comments have been made many times. Taking back LC from the transnational companies Placer Dome and Vanessa was done already but I guess it never hurts to remind the people that VZ owns LC.

Here is what I know!

Before spending a beautiful week in Palm Springs for a guys week out (minus the record rainfall) I spoke to Fung last week before the $hit hit the fan. I'm convinced from our discussion that everything is in place except for the actual transfer of the MOC and Permit. These happen to be the 2 big items. Talks between VZ and CRRC/CREC have taken place and will happen again next week.

We should know very soon if Hugo and VZ have the balls to tell China to screw off or they say it was all a big misunderstanding.
