Jacki, self promotion does not seem to be Fung's style. And KRY takes its PR marching orders from "The Wizard Behind the Curtain" Fung.

Fung's style is to send Richard Marshall out to give speeches at gold shows or to set up meetings with institutional investors.

In the past KRY had dozens of times when they could have tooted their own horn, but the only real time I can remember, on US TV, was when Todd Bruce went on Cramer's Mad Money show. And that appearance, amongst other things, got Bruce fired when his predictions backfired.

Some have posted how this proposed JV is a real sweet deal for KRY. IMHO this JV was a last ditch effort, rightly so, by Fung to avoid bankruptcy.

If this JV does go through I wouldn't expect one public word of support from Ven.

I also wouldn't expect any positive US press. I think Chavez's commie scorched earth policies have killed our chances for positive press, therefore I don't think anyone is going to be chasing this stock skyward.

Even with the announcement of the permit I'd be surprised at any short term gain beyond a dollar.

Maybe down the road (years from now) if the POG is still high, and if LC is actually producing gold then maybe KRY will reach $3. JMO

And regarding Alo Presidente tomorrow: We've never gotten anything positive out of that show. At the most we've gotten confusing language and a lot of rhetoric.

So I wouldn't hold your breath tomorrow waiting for good words from Chavez.

BTW, tomorrow I'm trick or treating in a Chavez mask because he's the scariest thing I know.
