CVG announces creation of Regional Technical Office

Khan: "Let's call the mayors and governors, and to disseminate the necessary
requirements to gain access to investments" The president of the Corporacion
Venezolana de Guayana (CVG), José Khan, announced the formation of the Regional
Technical Office South that priority will focus on the states of Bolivar, Delta
Amacuro and Amazon projects specifically appropriated by state and city
governments.

The office will be created jointly with the Inter-territorial Compensation Fund
of the Federal Government.

"CVG has expressed its commitment to provide infrastructure and staff Regional
Technical Office, we will call the mayors and governors, and to disseminate the
necessary conditions to access investment through the fund, which will further
strengthen as a body CVG regional development but mainly results in a true
participation and discipline in the formulation and approval of projects to
benefit economic growth and social development of the region, "he said.

For its part, the executive director of the Inter-territorial Compensation Fund
of the Federal Government, Veronica Guerrero, said that "through the Regional
Technical Office we will create the structure of the Compensation Fund for
investment planning to be used to Region to finance projects both in the
governorates, municipalities and people power. "
