• UPDATE NEWS: President Chavez' inauguration of the 'Simon Bolivar' ramp at Rusoro's La Camorra gold mine and futher announcements on the fate of the Las Cristinas and Las Brisas del Cuyuni gold fields has been put off for a further week and is now expected to take place on Sunday, November 21, after Mibam Minister Jose Khan returns from Beijing where he took the place of President Chavez in trade meetings with Chinese authorities on the future of Venezuela iron & steel and aluminum industries
