president, Hugo Chávez, began his program "Alo Presidente" in its issue number
367, from the Plaza of the water-breathing fish, the Palacio de Miraflores in
Caracas, to address the issue of "property scam" by different private companies
for hundreds of families who just wanted to get a home.

On this occasion, the Venezuelan president, Hugo Chávez Frías, explain the
perverse practices of some employers in the construction, against middle-class
Venezuelans. These actors incurred deviations, and resulting unfair, misleading
speculation deals and contracts related to the acquisition of housing units
built, under construction or planned.

It is important to note that, in these crimes, the state has acted decisively.
We have already decreed the expropriation of 5 housing estates and temporary
occupation of 30 construction companies, in order to realize immediate
possession of the homes and ensure that trading takes place, the sale price
agreed with the family, initially.
