Venezuela and China prepare high-level joint committee

November 15, 2010, 7:05 Caracas, Nov 15 (Prensa Latina) The governments of
Venezuela and China begin today in this capital work sessions to prepare the
Joint Commission IX High-level meeting scheduled in the coming weeks in Beijing.

The part of the Asian giant is headed by the Chief of Staff of People's
Liberation Army, General Chen Bingde, who was received yesterday at the

Maduro.

meeting.

Caracas and Beijing run dozens of conventions, among which the supply of 400
thousand barrels of Venezuelan crude to China, which guarantees a multi-credit
to promote socio-economic projects in this South American nation.

In the military sector are also large loops, from the support given by the world
power in Venezuela in strengthening its defensive capacity, with the sale of
radar and aircraft.

One of the most recent deals was the contract for the importation of 299 000
white goods, with which President Hugo Chavez developed the popular program "My
house is well equipped."

Chen was previously in Ecuador, where he exchanged with the head of state,
Rafael Correa.

The Chinese general will continue his tour of Latin America in Peru.
