Deadlines will continue to come and go but don't expect too much. Hugo needs KRY to remain as his whipping boy. Most of the subjects of his other favorite rants against evil capitalistic western "exploiters" of the riches which belong to him, have long since packed up their tents and left making them rather poor target for his vindictive rants.

However while KRY remains in the picture Hugo still has a scapegoat for his failed administrations and a fall back position and when asked why gold is not flowing into the Venezuelan coffers. With KRY still holding a contract he can still rely of his anti North American retoric and blame all his woes on those money grubbing capitalists who have tied up Venezuelan gold resources and who make their grubby fortunes trading the Venezuelan people's riches on the American stock exchanges...

So don't be afraid that Hugo will ever toss KRY off Las Cristinas or that any deadline actually means anything to him. He will continue to rant about the lack of progress but without KRY to blame there is the possibility that the people may eventually wise up to where the problems that face Venezuela really originate from.............
