It may very well be that Venezuela has never "mentioned" resolving the GRZ situation (to KRY management) to make their arbitration case go away. That means nothing. According to KRY management, Venezuela has communicated "nothing" to KRY management EVER other than everything is fine. Obviously we are not privy to what is going on behind the scenes. Assuming that CRRC is going to be the deep pocketed investor that buys GRZ and partners\buys KRY (makes sense to me)....then it makes perfect sense that these two deals, optimally, are executed at the same time....whether or not Las Brisas and Las Cristinas are two totally separate projects or share infrastructure to optimize efficiency while minimizing first cost.

As far as saying that GRZ has no arbitration case....if that was true then Venezuela would look forward to going to arbitration and wouldn't be giving GRZ the time of day. Maybe Ballenger was lying on the recent conference call about Venezuela saying they want to negotiate a settlement to avoid arbitration.
