Rusoro Mining will start operating in "The Incredible 6"

Gold mine would open would be operational for seven years and could generate more than 100 direct jobs in addition to continuing and expanding social programs carried out by the transnational south of the region.

The mayors of Roscius and El Callao attended the event which involves the creation of more jobs in the southern towns Rusoro Mining Company announced and presented to the communities of El Callao and Roscius the scope of his new gold project The Incredible 6, which begin to operate after obtaining in September of 2010 the relevant environmental permits to do so.

Although the award was given in 1992, after record all necessary documents and follow the steps established by Venezuelan law it was not until recently when it took effect the operational phase, which will generate an estimated 100 direct jobs which is considered a positive impact on the surrounding communities, along with social projects that the company will perform as part of the special benefits stipulated in the contract miner.

A presentation activity was attended by mayors of El Callao, Orlenia Scipio, and Roscius, Alejandro Martinez, who with authorities and officials CVG Rusoro group received first hand information of what will be the exploitation of the deposit were pleased that development opportunity that will open more doors in the localities.

Strength mining
The multinational Russia is considered one of the largest private investor in social projects in the southern state of Bolivar, and although this year its operation was threatened by the application of trading of Gold and its Alloys imposed by the Central Bank of Venezuela from 2009, this was changed to benefit the company now is in the process of expansion.

Within these plans to increase its production is The Incredible 6, wherein the operation will be open pit and the ore will be processed on the ground that the gold is in the Choco 10 concession, known as Promotora Minera Guayana (PMG).

The installed capacity of PMG (7 thousand tons a day) will be expanded in the next 2 years to about 21 000 tons a day to process ore from both the Choco 10 as that of The Incredible 6, whose useful life is estimated at 7 years in two the first stages of operation or saprolitic oxide ore and the second of fresh rock.

In addition to these concessions Rusoro works in partnership with the Venezuelan State in the Isidora mine through Verus CA and La Camorra (Sifontes municipality). Ramp also has Simon Bolivar, also in Sifontes, and Kaolin refining plant has not yet come into operation but is part of a project for the processing of this clay so abundant in the Kilometre 88.


In regard to environmental management, measures in three areas: rehabilitation, waste management and hygiene and safety, in addition to compliance with applicable legal requirements, promotion and dissemination of environmental education and continuous improvement social management, environmental and productive, to name a few.

New start

Not only the creation of jobs in the town of El Callao and Roscio is the most important thing that has to do with the exploitation of the Incredible 6. Communities crave the arrival of social plans which tend to resolve situations that even from the same state agencies are not met.

So it is with many of the social programs that makes private enterprise. In the specific case of Rusoro Mining it has raised, to enforce the special advantages of contract Incredible to projects in the area of a cattle farm, a mini plant pasteurizer, farm integral, fry rearing and management of agricultural programs government.

Similarly, the social responsibility department provides a program of preparation of agricultural land, Pastoral Silvio alternative program, Community nursery breeding, grassland; agreements with universities in research lines (Universidad Experimental de Guayana and Universidad Central de Venezuela) and conventions to study these same houses in the area of community building, employment and entrepreneurship.
