Exactly. Plus, most posters seem to assume that there is a normal rationality in Vennie decisions, that decisions are made after a careful analysis of the pros and cons of a policy, as far as the betterment of the country is concerned. While I don't think Chavez is nearly as bad as other tin-pots roaming the earth, it is wrong to assume that decisions are made there for the good of the country's economy (even if one admits that he may actually believe that a socialist system is the best way to go).
I don't think it is impossible that at some point in time, Chavez can't simply decide "That's it, we're not honouring international arbitration any more."
I'm hoping that his dependence on China is now irreversible. That's really all I have left to hang my hat on with this play.
