A number of people on this board have stated that the permit\JV will not be approved until Hu personally visits Venezuela so that Hugo can get his photo-op. With the arbitration deadline 2 months away, and Mr. Hu in relative close proximity, we should know this week whether this is just another worthless theory.

As far as I'm concerned, if China doesn't have the political "juice" to get a deal done before the April arbitration deadline.....I'm done listening to a Goddamn thing any KRY spokesman says on or off the record.
