I don't want to sound too naive, but:...why would the Chinese be in arush to mine LC when the price is high (unless they are convinced it is going a LOT higher)? Everyone in China, including the Feds, is hoarding gold, so they can make their currency the world standard within 10 years or so. They aren't terribly interested in selling gold on, not to anyone.
