That doesn't make logical sense. If one clause was rescinded because the whole contract was rescinded, then all the clauses granting the rights to Las Cristinas would be rescinded as well. In fact the whole contract would cease to exist as if it was never created. Of course that's not the case, otherwise all contacts and obligations under every contract ever entered into by anyone could be voided simply by one party resinding the contact.
