Ciudad Bolívar .- For the regional leader of the party Un Nuevo Tiempo Amauris Aular, mining conversion driven by the Government for some years in the state, left a trail of misery, as thousands of former workers displaced artisanal mining operating areas, today joined the long list of unemployed.
The coordinator of the tent opposition stressed that the call Restructuring Plan Mining and Caura, did not meet as planned, because the displaced persons were not benefiting from the delivery of socio-productive loans and are now in a precarious situation. He added that this activity was the sole livelihood of the former workers gold.
"Today we see with great concern as thousands of human beings go through a very difficult situation that were in the open after being abruptly evicted from the mining areas, then go to the streets without meeting any productive occupation. This is extremely worrying, "said the opposition leader.
Aular said that the political organization he represents has received complaints from various sectors of artisanal mining in relation to the situation in which there are perhaps most individuals included in the conversion process of Minera. "They are starving many miners and their families who were cast into oblivion," he said.
He insisted on starting a serious discussion of all the political factors at national level to find viable solutions to the situation of mining in Bolivar state, which includes the various trends that make life in the country.
Similarly recalled that at least one third of the population lives in Bolívar state of metal mining and non-metallic, ie it is an important source of work that was taken from thousands of people in an unplanned .
In this regard the view that the so-called "illegal mining" caused considerable damage to the environment, so it is important to serious and adjusted parameters of the law to resume the work of small-scale mining.
State capitalism
"With the implementation of the Restructuring Plan and Mining Caura only hurt the small scale mining because currently many of the evacuated areas remain the mining transnational corporations exert concessions given by the government hurting worse and leaving natural resources" , brandished.
Said that currently about 600 thousand people are without jobs after the conversion process and were only fooled with gifts which did not represent an improvement in their quality of life.
"They gave a small amount of money to a group of miners with the promise of re-inserting them into new areas of work that do not threaten the environment, but still many people waiting for this promise unfulfilled by this irresponsible government," reported Aular .
For the political leader of the opposition this problem is not a true capitalist state, orchestrated by the National Executive in order to issue permits to large transnational mining employment and render thousands of small miners.
He added that formulated a proposal for opening in mining areas for small gold workers, under all the legal parameters for consideration by the government, it would be an effective way to provide economic stability to the unemployed as a result of the conversion plans.
"Developed countries living in the mono-mineral production, engaged in this activity controlled under the national legal concepts, such policies must be implemented in the country to develop that potential so important in order to strengthen the national economy," said Amauris Aular.
Collapse of basic industries
In another vein, the leader of Un Nuevo Tiempo reported that basic business Guayana are on the verge of collapse due to wrong policies implemented by the Executive. Considered that the public should be aware of this situation, while demanding the recovery of these industries in the state of Bolivar.
