CLEBER willing to support mining projects in South

Douglas Robles, secretary of the Union of Mineworkers of Guyana, said the plan presented by this sector aims at generating more than five thousand jobs. Robles said the idea is to define areas for artisanal mining on a sustainable basis and environmental benefits and the gold mining entities.

The parliament appointed a special commission to be headed by the president of Kleber Deputy Juan Vicente Rojas, and agreed to incorporate these assessments to the Minister of Basic Industries and Mining, José Khan, as well as agencies involved in this matter, framing the constitutional aspects and guidelines within the National Plan Simón Bolívar.
