Gw....I'm guessing Fung will try to fund arbitration as he has always done....diluted the stock, this time with the carrot to new institutional investors to take the lion's share of any arb settlement. But I would not expect a big financing announcement. By that I mean a deal that would finance KRY for 3-5 years needed to see KRY through the process. KRY's history has shown us Fung only gets enough financing to keep the lights on 6-12 months down the road.
We still have to wait to see if the International Courts accept KRY's request for arbitration. If that happens I'm doubtful the current bond holders will wait much longer before they push for a fire sale, perhaps accepting less than 100%. I remember how aggressive they were when they "thought" KRY had lost control of LC. Now that they know KRY has lost all control I'm surprised they haven't gone on the attack. We may be pissed off at Fung but I'm guessing the big bondholders are homicidal.
Right now KRY is touting its law firm as having a 100% success rate against VZ. That's good news but I think there is a big question to be asked:
That law firm may have won the arb cases but did VZ ever actually pay off the monetary awards and if so, what were the payouts relative to the claims? I've asked that of RM. I'll let you know how he responds.
