The Chinese were supposed to be our saviours. They were supposed to be 'shocked' when Hugo yanked our MOC and killed the deal. The Chinese have been touted as 'astute and cautious' businessmen many times on this board. But none of the above really applies in their 'real world' business model...the trade deficit between the U.S. and China is due to their manipulation of their currency. They're gobbling up and hoarding rare earth minerals faster than any other country on the face of the earth...(unfairly, according to us)

Bottom line IMO, they were tipped off long before the rug was pulled out from under us, and I feel its a safe assumption that when Las Cristinas gets the go ahead and mining starts, they'll be in the drivers seat. And we've turned into a long term investment.
