On AMEX - KRY sp still forming, or has formed, that warning Bear flag - an indication of further downside. Stayed even on a pretty bad Market day yesterday, but this stock marches to its own beat. Technicals show OBV continues to trend down (though ever-so-slightly up to open today), Stoch trying to hint of Bullishness but is weak, Mac not good. Volume last couple of sessions below 400k. No extendied trading action today.

S&P and Dow futures looking to make for a great day with the unemployment claims dropping. Likely those who have run their full benefit out and others who have given up - but the Market will perceive what it wants to perceive. Choppy Market that is good for traders. About time for cost averagers and bargain players to step in after three days of misery, and world events seemingly forgotten. Be aware (Chicken Little, who has been sitting this one out, speaks), technicals showing pain may continue after today's pop... Stoch and Mac in Bear mode, OBV in downtrend (down today at open), S&P and Dow both below 50 Day MA. Also, 14 Day MA within a hair of touching 50 Day, which might be an indication of the Bears continuing their dancing in the near future. Very tough to turn around the trend and will take more than one day. Technicals of many other stocks are mimicking the S&P and Dow. Be careful in your choices. Diversification may not help.

Gold trended up slightly yesterday afternoon while Market was open. Dumped a bit overnight after the late afternoon rest and then trended up overnight while Hong Kong was open into today's open where it is slightly up at this time.
