Caracas. - A 43 percent of the voters would vote by a candidate different from president Hugo Chavez, whereas a 35 percent would support the re-election of the agent chief executive, according to a survey disclosed yesterday, to 21 months of the presidential elections of 2012.

The company/signature Keller poll said that its recent sounding, realised at the end of last February, indicates that if the election outside immediate, 43 percent would vote by a competing candidate, 35 percent by Chávez and the 22 percent did not know or did not respond.

To the question of if it thinks that Chávez can lose the elections of December of 2012, the 50 percent of the survey ones said yes that, against a 39 percent that responded that no. a 11 percent said that did not know.

The work indicated that the 55 percent of the consulted ones has a negative perception of the situation of the country. The sounding was realised in 59 cities, with a sample of 1,200 people and an allowable error of 2.89 percent.

Chávez, whose popularity is located in around 50 percent, will look for one second re-election in 2012, for which it took one long proselitista campaign by the end of 2010.

The agent chief executive is 12 years old in the power and to gain one second re-election he would remain in the presidency until February of 2019.

The competing alliance Table of the Unit glides to realise primary elections to choose its presidential flagman, between November next and March of 2012.

Although already several leaders said that they will appear in the primary ones, the study of Keller said that the governor of the central state of Vantage point, Henrique Capriles, heads the preferences with an affection of 84 percent in the competing sector.

He follows the ex- mayor of the Caracas municipality of Chacao Leopoldo Lopez, who is disqualified although she hopes that a favorable sentence of Human the Inter-American Court of Right allows him to postulate itself. (DPA)
