On top of that....they want to be the majority stakeholder in any JV which means that they pay nothing....their partner takes on all the risk and expends all of the capital while the Venezuelan bureaucrats (astute businessmen that they are) call all of the shots. Rots a ruck on that. Venezuela boasts of being 15th in the world in terms of mineral deposits in the ground....and that is exactly where the minerals will remain the way they run things down there....in the ground. And what is their reasoning for the insanity of the policies that led them to this situation? "They don't like 'THE WEST'". What total A-holes.
