An improvised camp and detainees

A committee of the National Guard, assigned to Detachment Borders N ª. 97, discovered illegal mining camp in the mountainous area called "Black For" in the sector "Del Fuego Del Fucko" of the parish's Pijiguaos, General Manuel Cedeño municipality of Bolivar state.

The information provided by Lieutenant Colonel (GNB) José Manuel Sifontes Bonger, commander of that detachment, he realizes that the location of the illegal exploitation of minerals, was conducted under plans being carried out on national mining shelter and daycare environmental

The operation was achieved through the rural patrols carried out by military troops, with the support of a military aircraft type MI-17 helicopter, belonging to Air Support Command of the National Guard, which could show the devastation and degradation the work environment caused by illegal mining gold ore.

Product of the action, were arrested Noel Camicus Zambrano, Lorenzo Mota Alvarez, Efrain Muñoz Gómez, Clemente Zambrano, Evid Agustín Pérez Pérez, Edid Demetrio Pérez, María Pérez Edid Argenis Jimenez Blanco and Jesus, all Venezuelan citizens, who were exercising Mining jobs in that sector in violation of the established in Article 43 of the Criminal Law of the Environment (soil degradation and landscape topography) and Article 122 of the Water Act (exercise activities prohibited protective zones).



It also was made the seizure and subsequent destruction (incineration) of two pumps, a water turbine, five hundred feet of 4 inch hose, a container inside contentivo of 0.500 milligrams of alleged gold and a half-eaten balony sandwich.

That procedure is done with criminal proceedings marked with no. 2011-9-97-3-sip-139, submitted in conjunction with third Fscalía detainees to prosecutors, the judicial district of Bolivar state, with jurisdiction over environmental protection, an organization that is responsible for bringing to justice of this made irregular.
