it's the beginning of dry season and with dry season comes....electrical sabotage!
the VP has said they are hunting down those who are responsible! also, they have noticed a surge in electrical use (still unexplained).....
in an unrelated story, over the last 2 years, the venezuelan government has struck many deals with the chinese to acquire millions of appliances to be given out via "cheap government loan" that can easily be applied to the labor debt...therefore, if you are a worker in the aluminum factory and hav'nt been paid in 6 months you can get a washer/dryer or fridge automatically deducted from your pay....the largest shipment of appliances to date will be delivered late this year and early next (prior to elections)..
conclusion: venz exhausted/deteriorated/unmaintained electrical grid combined with unusually dry seasons and a deteriorating "guri dam" should be combatted by adding 100's of thousands of appliances given to folks in the last year/two. each one pulls up to 20amps....
dumb is one thing...but sometimes you have to wonder if these venezuelan politico's live on the same planet...dont give them appliances. give them candles...
