Does anyone know if arbitration awards work the same as a company paying dividends.You have to be a holder of the stock for a set amount of time,say 60 days,before illegable for the diividend.With a company waiting for an arbitration award does someone who purchases stock the day before an award qualify.If thats the case,why hold stock for 2 years waiting when you could in theory buy right before the outcome.
