it seems like newer cases are moving at breakneck speed as compared to older cases. vannessas case has been stuck in the mud forever. the tribunal was "reconstituted a year ago and no activity since.... conoco's case is having a hearing on merits at the hague that ends june 13th... grz,mobil, conoco all seem to be getting things done much more quickly. hopefully this will continue. also, just an observation on a few decisions like "request for documents"....the tribunals seem to be finding favorably against venezuela on most items.

The Tribunal considers that Respondent has not demonstrated that the documents requested are necessary as required under Article 43(a) of the ICSID Convention and Rule 34(2)(a) of the ICSID Arbitration Rules. Accordingly, Respondent’s Application is denied.
