hugo's been very out of the spotlight for some time. opposition in ven is getting uppity. first he had the knee injury (which did'nt require surgery?) then the pelvic abscess which was treated in cuba on june 9th and he has'nt surfaced since...

most SA leaders know how dangerous it is to be out of country for too long (especially hugo).... my guess is that he is overseeing construction of his retirement home in cuba scheduled to be finished in late 2012....
