Thank-you Rick for bringing attention to my endeavor and for personally supporting this very important cause, both last year and this year. I appreciate it very much. With 68 days left until the event, I am pushing very hard on all fronts.

My mother's journey with chemo and radiation has begun to take a tremendous toll on her body and spirit. I think of the thousands who go through cancer alone or without the financial means to seek proper diagnosis, surgery and treatment. The injustice angers me and strengthens my resolve to do all I can to help those who lack the means, to do so for themselves. I vow to keep raising funds and awareness until we find a cure. It will be in this lifetime, I am certain of it.
