Crystallex International Corporation is a Canadian-based gold company with a successful record of developing and operating gold mines in Venezuela and elsewhere in South America
Beanster,
My take on RM's reply is that he apparently addressed your, "...settlement or negotiation talks between Crystallex and Venezuela...," question, as not being aware of any discussions ongoing between them. Lumping the two "settlement/negotiation" together by using the word, "discussions." Although, your question could have meant them as being differentiated, it likely would have been better asking each as separate and distinct questions. However, it might still not get you any more of a clear answer.
Not so sure if KRY getting into the mix would be such a good thing. Ven gets 55% and then 45% to be split between KRY and CRRC. Depending on what KRY/CRRC work out, maybe KRY receives 20-25% of the overall take. Plus, working under the thumb of how the gold can be sold, according to the Vens, does not sound like a very profitable opportunity.
But, one never knows what could be next, or in the works. The decisions and directions taken has been befuddling at times. Time will tell.
Also, would like to say, because it does not seem to have been mentioned on the forum... For those who recently experienced Irene on the right coast (I'm a left coaster), I hope all is well and you and your families came out relatively unharmed and are safe.
