Barclays estimate is below. Maybe Chavez intends to ship the gold directly from England to Exxon and Conoco for payment........or maybe not. Yeah, he will pay.

About this, a review of Barclays Capital forecasted a month ago an impending unfavorable decision for Venezuela, and the country would have to pay USD 3.7 billion to ExxonMobil and additional USD 9.7 billion to ConocoPhillips.
