Vet,
Many of the institutions who held KRY sold for many reasons. We don't need to re-hash the obvious reasons for our situations. We all feel the pain.
One obvious reason for the fallout was and still stands is the sub-$5 & $1 holding rules. Many funds cannot hold an equity for reasons binded to thier shareholders. In KRY's case I beleive ( most do not ) that the shares were consumed by off shore hedge funds and to that extent insiders. They do not need to disclose. Soverign wealth funds could have been buyers too!
We agree the geology and engineering is the best in the world. Canada is notorized for both mining and reclamation. Sadly, Vz. couldn't see the benefits.
Agreed, GRZ's case would be solved before KRY's for reasons I beleive justify my theories.
The only thing I'm not sure of and any lawyer would admit is " thiers no clear cut case and nothings 100% for sure " In both cases albiet different in valuations and reasons I dont want to go into we can all agree Vz. laws were met, social obligations were achieved and invested capitol both present and future have been harmed in many ways not including BIT's that may have been broken.
Some may not agree but I think managment took a very bad situation and so far may have turned the tide . We should hear something anyday in my humble opinion.
